Working title

Join me for Will It or Won't It! You and I know that not all things work out as we plan. The thing is, I enjoy learning, building, and fixing all kinds of things, so I buy all kinds of tech, like graphics cards and computers with problems. I build with them, work on them, and give old tech a new job. Then we find out if it WILL (get fixed), or if it WON'T.

    Upgrades and fixes

    Don't want to open it up yourself? I've got you. Tell me what's going on and I'll explain the fix in plain English before I touch anything. Based in South Florida.

    • More room on your PS5

      Always deleting games to make space? I add extra storage to your PS5 and set it up so it's ready to play.

    • Make your computer faster

      Slow to open things, or always out of space? I add more memory or a bigger, faster storage drive so it feels new again, without buying a new computer.

    • Laptop storage upgrade

      More space and faster start-ups for your laptop. Some laptops can't be upgraded, so I check your model first.

    • Move your stuff over

      Getting a new drive or a new computer? I move your photos, files, games, and settings so nothing gets left behind.

    • Clean-up and cool-down

      Fans loud? Computer running hot? I clean out the dust, replace the cooling paste on the main chip (it dries out over the years), and swap noisy fans so it runs cool and quiet again.

    • Controller drift repair

      Is your character moving when you're not touching the stick? That's called drift. Coming soon: Nintendo Joy-Cons first, then PS5 and Xbox controllers.

    How I test before anything leaves

    Graphics cards
    Run at full power for an hour (OCCT or FurMark), plus a memory test and real gameplay. No crashes, no weird glitches on screen.
    Memory
    Checked from start to finish 4 times (MemTest86) with zero errors.
    Whole computers
    All of that, plus the main processor gets pushed hard (a CPU stress test) and the storage drive gets a health check (CrystalDiskInfo).

    Every repair gets my seal and a 30-day promise from delivery. If it fails with the seal intact, I repair it or refund you.
